Brand iron.
Looking into ways of marking and stamping objects with information, this tool was made to try out burn marking. The logo is carved by hand using files from a bar of brass. The brass bar is lathed to fit into a heating tool I once found in a second hand shop. I was inspired to make to try this technique of carving a stamp by videos about the craft of carving letters for stamping and punching.
