Axe No.2.
Like axe No.1, I found this axe abandonded in a shed in Sweden. I loved the shape and the visible corrosion on its skin. When I found it I wanted to give it its purpose back by cleaning the rust off, sharpening it for many hours and cleaning off the handle.
I decided to keep the handle as it is as it has lived together with the axehead and I didnt want to remove its knowledge and the character it brings.
Material: Oak, axe head.
Tools used: Axe, saw, block plane, spokeshave, angle grinder, whetstone, sandpaper, hammer.
Size: 480x160x30.
